Meet our team

  • Alex Palmer

I formed FCS in 2004 and since then the company has thrived, helping hundreds of children pursue a more active lifestyle. With my passion to work with children, my journey began by offering schools free PPA cover and sports clubs, to gain extensive experience working with young people in primary settings. Since then, FCS has expanded and now employs several experienced coaches, working in schools throughout Leicestershire.

Whilst I now oversee the business, I have remained true to my roots and still lead regular sports sessions. I love working with our schools to ensure that these children have as many opportunities in the sporting world as possible.

At a personal level, sport has been my life, and despite age catching up with me, I try to stay active as much as possible!

  • Sunny Patel

I have been working for FCS for eight years and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. I spend much of my time at Rothley Primary School, where I have relished watching the children grow and develop their skills, from foundation through to year 6.

My passion for sport began from an early age when I developed a love for cricket. I have been fortunate to play professional cricket for Leicestershire and have represented England Under 19s, allowing me to travel the world, playing a sport I love.

I am a self-driven individual who is keen to motivate and educate children about the wonderful world of sport. I am proactive and outgoing, and I have a great passion for fitness.

  • Gianni Collara

I joined the FCS team two years ago and have worked mostly at Newcroft Primary Academy and Rothley Primary School. I have spent much of my professional career in sports coaching, having accrued fourteen years' experience, covering many different sports and areas.

I have played football for twenty years at a semi-professional level, allowing me to upskill all sports with new games and ideas. Away from the pitch, I enjoy watching sport and spending time with my family.

I have a real passion for sharing my love of sports and activities and seeing the positive difference it has within schools and pupil achievement.

  • Jack Rowell

I joined the FCS team over two years ago but have been coaching PE for twelve years. I am passionate about sport and am driven to be the best version of me.

Outside of work, I enjoy keeping fit at the gym and watching different sports, my favourite being football. I am an avid supporter of the almighty Leeds United Football Club.

  • Josh Cundy

PE has been a part of my life for as long as I remember starting off at Redlands where Alex Palmer first taught me! After this I began playing lots of cricket and football which I am extremely passionate about.

I am currently studying a level 3 applied coaching course at Loughborough College which is not only lots of fun but it also provides me with good opportunities to work for FCS during the week and in the holidays. Over the past 2 years FCS has developed and keep on developing me through PE sessions but also signing me up on different courses.

I currently have multiple qualifications with a level 2 cricket coaching badge, a level 2 sports coaching certificate and also, I am a qualified referee for the Leicestershire FA.

  • McKenzie Jordan

I have loved my time with FCS, after joining as an apprentice last year. I spend my time between St. Luke’s, Burton on the Wolds and St. Michael’s and All Angels. I teach PE lessons, support teachers with CPD and lead clubs.

Before this, I was at Quorn FC Academy, where I was team captain for two years and earned the title of Managers Player of the Year. Here I gained valuable coaching experience and qualified as a level 3 Sports Coach.

In my spare time I like to keep active; I enjoy playing football, badminton and darts and I am a Leicester City season ticket holder.

  • Joshua Glenn

I joined the FCS team so that I can improve my knowledge about sports coaching and working with children from the ages of 5-11 years old. After only 2 years of coaching my desire and ambition has increased. I’m determined to work myself up through the FCS standards chain and improve the skills to the children that I teach.

I studied sports coaching at Loughborough College for two years and in that time I knew coaching was for me. I am determined to push my self and expand my knowledge while working with the FCS team.

Outside of coaching, I enjoy watching and playing football.

Success is dependent upon effort.
